Orville lived most of his life in Latchford. He studied accounting in Toronto and after a period inthe work force was hired at the former Misericordia Hospital in Haileybury. He was involved inthe planning of the new Temiskaming Hospital, to which he moved in 1979, and of

Susan was born in Rouyn Noranda, and grew up in mining camps in the Canadian north. She wasa long time registered nurse with the Canadian military, and served in Germany and acrossCanada. On her retirement she settled in Haileybury, and lived there until her death. She said
